51 weeks – 1st September 2025 – 24th August 2026
48 weeks – 1st September 2025 – 3rs August 2026
Payment Options
Payment can be made using one of the following options:
1) Monthly instalments in advance, due on the 1st of each calendar month - if providing a UK based guarantor.
2) Two payments in advance – one payment ahead of check-in and the second payment by 1st January 2026.
3) One single payment ahead of check-in.
Deposit
Following a successful application all we require is your deposit payment of £150 to secure your room. This deposit is subject to the cancellation policy; see below.
Please note that payment of the deposit is a term of the tenancy agreement. The deposit will be returned at the end of the tenancy less any deductions for breakages, damages or losses by the tenant.
Prices and Booking Information
Monthly payment plans are only available to tenants who are a UK resident. If the prospective tenant is from overseas, they will be required to pay in advance in either a single payment or in two payments if they are unable to provide a UK based Guarantor.
Please be aware that you must be a full-time student to be exempt from council tax.
'All inclusive rent'
Please note that all inclusive rent and use of utilities is subject to a Fair Usage Policy. Our Fair Usage Policy document can be issued upon request.
Cancellation and Deposit Refunds
If you have paid the deposit and not yet signed the tenancy agreement but change your mind, then they are due your deposit back. You can cancel your booking in writing or by sending an email directly to the Property Team. However, if you have paid the deposit and signed the tenancy agreement then you are legally bound by the terms of the lease. Any other cancellation and refund of deposit can only be permitted under special circumstances at the discretion of K Letting e.g. not being accepted on to your course or a serious medical ground.
ANUK
Newton House Student Accommodation is a member of the National Code of Standards for Larger Student Accommodation. The Code provides guidance and minimum standards that code members are expected to attain and these standards are checked regularly by site inspection. The code also provides a complaints service for when things go wrong and have not been addressed properly by us.
